About Us

A Little About Cindy

Cindy, with her husband Tim, purchased a small wholesale/retail bakery in 2001, where Cindy could fine tune her abilities as a Pastry Chef and Cake Decorator. We added a coffee shop shortly after. We soon found that between both shops we had twenty to twenty-five people employed dependent on seasonal changes. As the business continued to grow in volume and sales, Cindy was spending too much time in administrative chores and less on cake decorating. In 2007, we downsized the bakery and set up a new studio for Cindy to concentrate on her passion, cakes. We now have a beautiful new studio with just the right equipment to make the most incredible cakes you can imagine! Her cakes have traveled to many far away locations including Seattle Washington, Orlando Florida, College Station Texas, Tennessee, Vermont, and Keene New Hampshire.

Previous to running the bakery/coffee shop, Cindy has been Chef, Pastry Chef, and Caterer for many years, working for a very exclusive gourmet restaurant an hour outside of Washington, DC. known as the "Toliver House."

Cindy has been married to Tim, "Quality Control Guy", yes I am the cake taster, for 38 years this August (2014), and has three girls, Alicia, Katrina, and Nikyta.
